Chris, it’s great to have you here. Let’s dive right in. Your new album “War Machine” will be released on November 8th via Frontiers Records. Can you tell us about the journey leading up to this album?

Chris Impellitteri: Thanks for having me! “War Machine” has been an incredible journey. We’ve been working tirelessly to bring something fresh and powerful to our fans. The album features a mix of heavy metal and hard rock, showcasing our signature sound but with new energy and intensity.

You’ve been with Frontiers Records for a while now. How has their support influenced your music?

Chris: Frontiers Music has been fantastic. Their expansion and restructuring have brought a lot of positive changes. The support from Mario, the president, has been particularly impactful. He shared their vision and restructuring plans with me, and I bought into it. The success of our first single, “Out of My Mind (Heavy Metal),” which garnered a couple of hundred thousand views organically, is a testament to their support.

Can you tell us more about the singles from “War Machine“?

Chris: Absolutely. Our first single, “Out of My Mind (Heavy Metal),” has already been released along with a music video. We have more singles lined up, including “Power Grab,” which is set to release this Thursday. It’s a punkish metal track inspired by the Russian invasion. Following that, we’ll release “Wrath Child” and then “Hell on Earth.” Both of these tracks feature behind-the-scenes footage of us in the studio, which adds a raw and authentic touch to the videos.

Your songwriting process is quite unique. Can you share how you and Rob Rock collaborate on your music?

Chris: Sure! It all starts with me jamming and coming up with riffs. Sometimes, by accident, I stumble upon something cool, and that’s the seed of a new song. I often hear Rob’s voice in my head while I’m writing, which guides the structure of the song. Once I have a rough demo, I share it with Rob. He either builds on it or comes up with something entirely different, which usually works out even better. Our chemistry is strong, and we complement each other well.

You’ve been in the music industry for over 40 years. How has your approach to music evolved?

Chris: It’s hard to believe it’s been that long! Over the years, we’ve grown as musicians and as a band. Our approach has become more collaborative. For “War Machine,” each band member had the freedom to produce their parts, which brought out the best in everyone. The energy and synergy in the studio were incredible, and I think it shows in the music.

What can fans expect from “War Machine”?

Chris: Fans can expect a powerful and dynamic album. “War Machine” is packed with intense riffs, soaring vocals, and a lot of heart. We’ve poured everything into this album, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it. It’s a testament to our journey and our dedication to creating music that resonates with our fans.

Any final thoughts you’d like to share?

Chris: Just a huge thank you to our fans for their unwavering support. We’re excited for you to hear “War Machine” and to continue this journey with us. Keep rocking, and we’ll see you on the road!
