Yngwie Malmsteen’s Slander Lawsuit Against Longtime Ex-Girlfriend Tallee Savage Dismissed As Frivolous

Yngwie Malmsteen and his wife, April, had their lawsuit against longtime ex-girlfriend Tallee Savage thrown out as frivolous in Miami-Dade Civil Court on October 28, 2020.

The Malmsteen’s filed suit back in December of 2017 against Savage for an interview she did with us where she offered her opinion on April and what she perceived as “her being over-controlling” to Yngwie’s career and Malmsteen’s alledged use of narcotics back in the ’80s.

The Malmsteen’s through their attorney Joe Cartolano started reaching out with Cease and Desist emails for the story on any web platform.  When that didn’t work, they filed a civil action against Savage for what they seemed “her comments were harmful to his career.”

Judge Diaz disagreed and threw out his case as it was frivolous from the start.  The purpose of the suit was to harass Mrs. Savage.
