Embattled owner of TTM Guitars LLC Lance Benedict dissolved his company with the Secretary of States Office in the State of California last month.
Benedict, who’s the subject of multiple investigations from state and federal officials for allegations from mail, wire, and tax fraud to offering illegal franchises, stealing from his customers by not shipping guitars or refunding them, to labor and corporation law violations.
With his dissolved company, Benedict is now trying to expand his instrumental offerings to include pianos, drums, audio equipment and more. He’s going to need new partners and resources to do this. In comes Guitar Summit 2019 in Mannheim, Germany that is happening September 27-29. Benedict is scheduled to be an exhibitor.
Should the people behind Guitar Summit 2019 allow Benedict to attend seeking to legitimize his cause in his followers’ eyes and possible partners/investors while under criminal and civil investigation in the United States? Especially with the number of alleged victims from Europe that haven’t received their guitar or refund from him? We’ve reached out to Guitar Summit 2019 management to get a comment and we’ll report as soon as we get it.

Are Jess and Pat Toby still involved with TTM Guitars involving their shop in Grass Valley, California?
One of the big mysteries in the TTM Guitars scandal is Jess and Pat Toby. They’re the owners of the Grass Valley, California shop where Benedict was having his US-built guitars made. The Toby’s were promised a stake in TTM Guitars, LLC. Benedict had made multiple promises to them that he’d do the paperwork when he got back from Summer NAMM. That obviously didn’t happen when he dissolved TTM. Are the Toby’s due any money from Benedict? Are they still involved with whatever venture
