All That Shreds received a certified letter from Evan Rubinson’s Attorney, Paul Thanasides, for us to cease and desist ‘slandering’ his client. A copy of the letter is below.
We get these often when we report about subjects of this nature when an Attorney wants to try and bully the press.
I contacted Mr. Thanasides, whose big title is ‘Chair of Complex Litigation’ for his firm. Mr. Thanasides is worried that our readers don’t understand the difference between ‘allegations’ and ‘facts.’
After he insulted virtually everyone that reads this site, I figured I would make a public service announcement that the civil suit brought by his own mom is PURELY ALLEGATIONS. K? Your homework assignment is to write this 25 times on a piece of paper and submit it to me.
Let’s review what is fact while Evan was CEO of Dean Guitars/Armadillo:
- Wayne Odell former Dean Guitars/Armadillo COO arrested and convicted of child pornography and only received a two-year sentence when he should’ve received at least 40.
- Michael Angelo Batio, Dave Mustaine, Vinnie Moore, Rusty Cooley, Andy LaRoque, Tracii Guns, and Uli Jon Roth left Dean Guitars while Evan was CEO.
- Dimebag’s estate sues Dean Guitars
- Gibson sues and wins the case against Dean Guitars.
I’m not an expert in CEOs, but the above-mentioned happening on anyone’s watch would certainly start a conversation about why this is happening.
Why you’d get rid of Rusty Cooley when his signature guitar was one of your top sellers will always be one of those music industry WTF moments
So Evan and his Attorney want me to make sure that you, the readers know the difference between ALLEGATIONS and FACTS. He ALLEGEDLY stole 420K from his Fathers Thoroughbred Music fund. He ALLEGEDLY alienated all of his legacy artists. If you need any clarification on this, please hit us up 🙂
