4X12 Over The Top Edition

All That Shreds Magazine, in conjunction with host Andrew Banks of KATN / The Shred OGs Podcast, asks FOUR Guitar Greats a new question over TWELVE months.  Thus became the name ‘4 x 12’, just like the cabinets they shred through!!

In total, sixteen guitarists of various styles and experience participated.  We now have a Shrapnel Records, Blue Mouth Promotions, Higher Spirit, and an Over The Top segment on the 1st, 7th, 14th, and 21st of each month for an entire year!

So have fun comparing answers as some questions in the months to come will inform and surprise you!  Time to crank up your 4×12 and jam on this…

I have a lot of great things happening this year.  My new album ‘More Machine Than Man’ will be released at the end of February.  Special guests include former Megadeth / Lamb of God Drummer Chris Adler, five-time Grammy winner Victor Wooten and Italian Guitarist Andrea Martongelli.

I’ll be starting a 29 city USA tour on January 23rd called the Speed Kills 2020 Tour.

I have a new website address – www.handswithoutshadows.com

I just signed with a great California based music company called Sawtooth Guitars.

New guitars, new album, new tour, new site, and more.  Can’t miss!!

I will be recording an LP that stands for ‘Long Player’ format musical recording.  I have an EP that came out last year, and this will further elaborate on my musical world and include some new dimensions.  I will look forward to doing more touring across the country and the world this year, that will be the realization of a dream for me!  I will also be working on a travelogue web series / TV show where I visit my fans in their hometowns and pilot heavy metal solutions to their personal problems.  Along with that, I look forward to some new collaborations… I can’t say who, but I’m hoping to work with some fabulous musicians in 2020!

The Commander-in-Chief:

4X12 Over The Top Edition

I will release my 4th album: ‘Berit – Volume 2’, an acoustic album with personal songs along the same lines as my critically acclaimed previous release: ‘Berit, Volume1.  As an artist, I’m always happy when I can bring a creative endeavor to completion.  So I will feel much relieved when I finally hold the physical CD in my hand and can say that it is done!!!  We will, of course, do a pre-order campaign before the launch, so people have to keep an eye out for any future announcements regarding the release date! The best way to keep up with me is by signing up for my email list since social media sites come and go! 🙂

We will shoot lots of new music videos and release the remaining videos for ‘Berit, Volume 1’ as well!  I cannot wait!  I’m very excited!  🙂

I will also release a book about some of my experiences in the music industry after being an independent musician for 12 years.  I’m very much looking forward to this; I think that a great deal of the content will be useful and exciting to aspiring musicians, especially in this digital age.  I’m also planning on doing a pre-order campaign for this, so once again: sign up to my email list to keep an eye on when these works will be released!

Elisabeth (manager) and I are also working in secrecy on a number of projects as well, which we aren’t ready to tease about just yet!  🙂

All That Shreds thanks this week’s guest guitarists for participating in ‘4 x 12’.  Please support each artist’s new releases, projects, tours, and the companies who endorse them.
